Reduced PC operation cost Thin client function (data restriction) and PC management function (functional restriction) can be managed in an integrated manner.
Administration cost can be reduced significantly as data migration and deletion is performed at the Centre, for example; termination of employment, change of role, etc.
Easy migration Existing PCs can be migrated to thin client status centrally. No data migration necessary when installing PC with new Windows version (Vista, 7).
Application restrictions Restrictions can be placed on the use of unauthorised applications.
Restrictions can be overridden by an authorised administrator.
Functional restriction PC support costs and resources are minimized by controlling inappropriate configuration changes.
Minimize downtime from PC breakdowns Data and 'user environments' are stored at the server level, therefore work can be resumed immediately by replacing the faulty PC.
No possibility of losing data during PC repair process, and user-configuration settings and data can be used with replacement PC.
No risk of data leakage during repair of PC.
Enhanced of data availability The administrator can consolidate all PC data from the server-side; therefore all PC data can be backed up with minimum trouble.
Administration costs can be reduced while improving availability.
Support responsiveness Logs for all in-house, external, online and offline operations are stored at Data Centre.
